Interior design

A beautifully proportioned period property, Melody Road was updated in order to fully utilise the space available, whilst still creating a striking warm family home.

Our clients were looking for an open plan downstairs area for living and entertaining that reached out to the garden, but with the possibility of tucking yourself away in the evenings. We installed a large glass extension with views onto the garden, which incorporates both the kitchen and dining area with the added extra of an internal swing.

The hallway and staircase double up as an impressive floor to ceiling home library with an in-built reading corner and cloakroom.

Crittal glass doors separate the living room from the rest of the house but still allow natural light and views to the garden.

Downstairs we completed an overhaul of the playroom and utility space, with built in storage and a striking colour scheme to complement the dramatic hallway.

Hallway space is often under utilised: our design was in direct response to the client’s need for storage for their extensive collection of reading material.
